Christmas 2009 Puzzle Contest - Part 1, Part 2 and final Part 3 (extended deadline)

I submited:

Puzzle 1: 95 words
Puzzle 2 , all answers matched.
Puzzle 3 , From what I had found there were no cubics or Gods , so I submitted that. I just didnt have the patience to do it over after all the revisions.

Were there actually any cubics or Gods in the grid?

The fire god was in there, but I don't think there were any cubics.

When are the prize draws going to take place?

Sorry for the delay, but the contest totally slipped my mind. I will announce the winners of the first and second puzzles today. The third puzzle needs some consultation with DaviDuke the creator of the puzzles. Once that has finished, we will also announce the winners of the third puzzle and the over winners.

The winners of the first puzzle, the word searcher are:

* The second prize winner is: Onslaught7
* The third prize winners is: tomden

DJAbacus and Onslaught7 had both found the correct amount of card names in the word seacher: 97. A draw determined the final winner. The same goes for the third place as there were more entries that mentioned 96 cards as tomden did.

The winners of the second puzzle, the Sudoku's, are:

* The second place winner is: dragonsorcerer
* The third place winner is: internallydeluded

These winners had to be draw from all but one contestant. Everyone, except one, had solved all the sudoku's correct and found the correct words and phrases.
