I have to admit that in the end the number of people who actually participated was actualy quite low. This resulted in a few people winning a lot of the prizes, which would have been differently if more people have participated. But promise is promise, so those who won a lot of prizes are just very lucky.

A better idea would have been to ensure that competitions are not intimidating to all but the university educated. I wonder if any of the winners is an unskilled worker (like me).

No offence to DJABACUS, but i think 13 vault credits and a Mandragora Triplet (272) card is way over the top for the winner.
He should of gotten the Mandragora Triplet (272) card and maybe 5 vaults credits max for first place, and the rest should have been given away to another person who placed in the prize draw.
I didn't enter (couldn't be bothered, to be truthful), but like Warbear mentioned in his post, i wonder if some people were put off by this competition because it was hard and time consuming?.
However this is just my opinion, congrats to the winners.

I have been very lucky and am planning to put back some of what I have won into the community. Watch this space!

Congrats DJABACUS!
Now please dont empty the prize vault, hehe .
At the start of this contest i was actually thinking of participating, but i saw how time consuming this would get with the huge grid on puzzle 1 and, on puzzle 2, as i dont have any experience on sudoku, it would probably take twice the time to get it done. And then comes puzzle 3, lol. Reading some of the earlier posts with people spending so many hours doing it, i was like .
Anyway, i didnt have the time or will to participate.

Thanks for the contest Mark and DaviDuke!
Congrats to all the winners. I am sure a lot of people put in a lot of time for this contest (I know I put in quite a few hours to get answers to all three puzzles, even though I missed a couple of cards in the first puzzle).
