The four letter words are more element related and the 10 letter anagram is very festive. No more help being given than that folks

I know that no more help should be offered, but I would like some clarification if possible. Are the letters in the white boxes in reading order from right to left top to bottom in forming the element specific word or can the letters be mixed? It seems that there can be at least 2 or more possible words for each and it also seems that just plugging in random letters could lead to numerous solutions for each puzzle. Is there a way to be sure that you're not just guessing one of several random words that are related to the element?
I would also like to know if the festive expression will be spelled out in order or if the letters could possible be mixed as well.
Also no one has responded to my team solving these puzzles with my stepson tonypdh. We are working on these together and if I haven't gotten any opinions on whether submitting an answer for each of us would be cheating and in that case I will submit one answer for our team effort.

The 4 letter words are random within each puzzle, but they should be relatively easy to figure once you have the letters, so I’m surprised that you can make more than one word that is element related, not card specific related. The words are simple. The idea was to make the solving of the puzzle the difficult part, not the submitted answers
For the 10 letter anagram, the letters are randomly spread over the 5 puzzles
I can’t comment on the multiple entry issue as Mark would need to make a ruling on this

If you want my opinion, and if you don't....sorry, IMO you should have one entry between you. It would be unfair for me to team up with say...sjabth...and share the spoils if we win. And the spoils are big!!! Great prizes from the site...so I think a bit of sportsmanship should be in play here. Sending in 2 entries will reduce my chance of winning! ...oh and Merry Christmas to you and your family.

Yes I did want your opinion and this is what I had surmised from the beginning of this idea in case anyone read my first post addressing the issue they would be aware. Thank you for your confirmation as I did not think it to be fair either, I just needed at least one sane figure over the age of 13 who would pull me from the darkside of this teenager's strategy.
By the way, once I looked into sudoku more and realized only 9 letters were being used in each puzzle it all fell into place. Now I hate sudoku even more than when I was just an observer.

Geee, how did I get involved in this? You're a great guy and everything, DJA, but I'd prefer to submit my own stuff (unless I get totally stuck, then I will turn to you for advice of course ). Just kidding.
