Tournament Trophies

Tournament organizers can now also create trophies to give away to the winners of their contest. These trophies will then be shown at the bottom of every post of that person.

To define these trophies, tournament organizers have to sent me one image at info@eojmanager.com that represents that trophy. The size of that image should be 75x75 pixels. We also need a title for the trophy. It is also possible to use more images for various trophies in one tournament (e.g. one for the winner, one for the second place and one for the third place). If a tournament is part of a series, we'd like to use the same trophies for every episode of the series.

A tournament organizer can also request to use a creature or spell image (either from card library or the artwork as shown in the Prize Vault artwork prints) for a trophy, but notice that each image can only be used for one (series of) tournament(s) and we need a reason why that specific creature or spell image belongs to your tournament (for example, it would be very logical for the Spellshield tournament to use the spellshield image).

Once the tournament is finished, the tournament organizer has to let us known which players gets which trophy.

Do you want any form of text to be incorporated within the 75x75 image, or can that be specified underneath as normal text.

Something like: "Spellshield Tournament 1st Edition Winner"

Maybe I'll try and incorporate these into my Tournament when it's ready to go.

Yes, I forgot to mention that. A title is also necessary. This won't be displayed in the small trophy beneath each post, but when you click on the trophy.

Actually, this feature has been available since the start of the EW war. It has just been forgotten (including by myself). SkahT mentioned to me yesterday that DaviDuke mentioned the idea of trophies to him. So it was only a matter of 'dusting of' this functionality and give it some attention.

Well, it was still a great idea in the first place, I think I remember people having them for that huge easter tournament in 2008

Trophies for past tournaments have also been added now (except two which are currently being designed by SkahT). See the first post for the trophies.

This will give me more incentive to find the time to compete in tournaments lol.

Sorry for the double post, but i was thinking why dont you create some donation trophies mark?.

Surely this would give people more incentive to contribute money to the upkeep of the site for donation credits for the prize vault rather than relying on card trade-ins all the time.

For instance you could make the following trophies for the following donations: (just an example)

Bronze - 1 - 5 money donations
Silver - 5 - 10 money donations
Gold - 10 - 20 money donations
Platinum - 20+ money donations

You could even run a monthly or every 3 months prize draw for UR/Phantom cards or vault credits giving people 1 entry to the draw depending on how many money donations they make. (just a suggestion)

I understand not all people on this forum will be able to contribute towards the upkeep of the site because of age, financial status, etc, however i would like to see this site operate for years to come because of a love for the game and the great community there is for EOJ.

I cant see many (if any) people objecting to this idea as this will allow you to run more tournaments, purchase and giveaway more prizes, and as mentioned earlier allow the site to run for years to come.

The trophies for the Might & Magic Tournament and Power Level Four Tournament have also been added. Also the trophy for the Uncommon Tournament has been changed (you may have to Refresh your browser to get the updated image). All these three trophies have been designed by SkahT.

Any runners up trophies (silver, bronze) or just the winner ?
