So ... I must conclude that what appears on the first page and that I misled means nothing in terms of results ?

I´ve posted 2 results and only see one from ORLA30ITA , therefore concluded that I had two more games

Well ... they certainly do as i "still" won't assign a penalty point to you, even so:

- it is you that were mistaken about the exact situation of the tournament
- it is you that falsely accused me of making errors and favoritism

Now ... if after all that, you still feel that you should proceed to quarter-finals with a 2-2 record instead of OrlaITA with a 3-1 record in for your group,
considering that you where "mislead" by the edits done in the 1st post by someone trying to help on a voluntary basis ... well ... then i guess WE have a problem.

Check the tournament module, Dual Element Tournament -> Played games ... OrlaITA played 4 games, of which he won 3

Its a misunderstanding mixed with the frustration due to know that he (newwhere) was wrong all the time...he didnt seem to know about the tournament module and made a mistake...please man chill out and think about it after a cold drink...this doesnt worth a fight or a ban...apologize and in future tournaments try to avoid this and play for fun...regards

I was updating the first post. The last time I stated the first post was updated was on 12/31 at 04:54. Results for Orla and results posted by you were reported after (at 12/31 05:51 for Orla and 01/02 22:04 for your matches). Neither of these results were updated in the first post, as I have not checked the thread since I was out of town. When I got back, I saw ShadowKen had made a bracket and figured no need to update the first post.
I was updating the first post, because I prefer to follow results in the thread, however, the official tournament tracking is the tournament module and ShadowKen posted several times that even though I was updating the first post that the tournament module was still the official result tracking location.

Sorry if my updating of results caused a problem for you, you can rest assured that I will no be updating results for any tournament again since it appears to just cause problems. You can use the tournament module exclusively from now on.

Firstly, newhere please apologise for your recent unnecessary posts. Clearly you are annoyed about this but you are becoming a regular tournament player here and I wouldn't want you getting banned. As far as I can see you both played the same games against the same players and Orla won 3 games (1-1 vs Myr) and you won 2 games (0-2 vs Myr) so Orla should go through.

Firm and fair is how I feel you have always been as a Tournament Mod. The group stages have been really well managed and apart from this one players have completed all their games. Can I ask that the same strictness is applied to the knock-out stages. IMO both players should be eliminated if they can't play their game within 2 weeks, without good reason.

I think players should be proactive in scheduling matches. Make yourself aware of the time difference between you and each of your opponents. PM your opponents ASAP, giving a range of possible times you are available to play. When a time has been decided post the time in the relevant tournament thread. This is very important if you are not 'friends' and/or rarely see each other online. Regular players who see each other online wouldn't necessarily need to do all this, but most should. Any problems PM ShadowKen, who has no problem with the 'odd' late fixture, but needs to know that efforts are being made to play.

It really is very easy to get these tournaments through on time without any issues if all players make the effort to contact each other.

I apologize for my outburst ...but for me ended the tournaments .
I will continue play EOJ, but only by my own .

PS : The important thing for me was, not being eliminated , but how that happened .

( winning or losing for me is almost the same... as evidenced by my withdrawal in the semi-final of MANA TOURNAMENT . )

Hope you change your mind and come back to the tournaments soon...it was all a misunderstanding...

I want to make clear that only results posted to the tournaments module are valid as entries for tournaments on this site.

I can understand that newhere is disappointed, but that doesn't mean he can become rude to others on this site. I am glad hat he did apologize, but I will still edit his rude post and confer with other moderators whether to take more steps or not.

I Have contacted Triforce85 and am waiting for his reply to confirm our match.
